Broad st beautification project

The Broad Beautification Project is funded by a Mayor's Neighborhood Enrichment Grant from the City of New Orleans. Read more about this grant program here

The project is a collaborative effort of Broad Street business owners and Broad Community Connections to elevate small businesses and cultural institutions while creating microclimate and stormwater management opportunities across the Broad Street district. With over 187 occupied storefronts, Broad Street is the second busiest traffic corridor in the City. We are working with 5-8 business owners to add or improve 10 planter beds as a way to add to the tree canopy of the corridor, creating a cohesive and pleasant physician environment to make Broad more hospitable to pedestrian traffic.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
